Aisha Hinds, an American actress best recognized for her roles on the television series The Shield and True Blood. Since her debut in 2003 she has demonstrated her range in acting performing outstandingly in TV shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 and Under the Dome. Anna's performance as a character in Assault on Precinct 13 was her first major break. It was however her portrayal of the feminist Fannie Louis Hamer, in the biography film All the Way, which earned her the respect she deserved as an actress. Hind was also recognized for her role played in the role of Harriet Tubman within WGN America's period-drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the show to a third season.
