Aisha Hinds, an American actress best recognized for her roles on the television series The Shield and True Blood. Since her debut in 2003 she has demonstrated her range in acting performing outstandingly in TV shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 and Under the Dome. Anna's performance as a character in Assault on Precinct 13 was her first major break. It was also the first movie to be shown at Cannes Film Festival. Following that she received great acclaim for her portrayal of Chokher Bali (2003) which is a dramatic thriller based on Rabindranath Tagore's novel. In the that same year, she got appointed as the first Indian actor on the Cannes Film Festival Jury. Bachchan was as a character in Gurinder Chadha's Bride and Prejudice a musical and dance version from Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. The beauty and star power of Bachchan was brought to the very first major English-language film.
